How It All Began

In the summer of 2016, while watching a band perform at a festival from a hill overlooking the fairgrounds, Jerry—our founder—began to pray. He asked God, “Why don’t we have a Christian event like this—something that brings believers together just to worship You?”

Shortly after, God gave him a clear answer. In the middle of the night, he was awakened with a name burning in his spirit:
JESUS FEST

Just two months later, on September 24, 2016, that vision became reality—and Jesus Fest was born.

What started as a simple act of obedience has now become a growing movement in the city of Chicago—bringing people together in faith, worship, and love for Jesus Christ.
